Hey beauty lovers! It's my favorite time of the year - the Spring Sephora Sale! As an avid beauty lover and Sephora Rouge Member, I ALWAYS shop the sale. Big sales with time constraints can feel a bit overwhelming. Over the years, I have learned different ways to navigate the sale and today I am sharing some tips and tricks that work for me. Make that list and check it twice! I recommend adding all the items to your cart prior to the sale, so that you can easily and quickly check out on the day of. We generally know that Sephora has sales in April and November so if you're running low on things a little prior to the sale, wait to purchase if you can. Making your list in advance also can help you plan financially. I know it sounds crazy but I generally spend around $500 during the sale because I stock up on things I always need (like dry shampoo) and tend to splurge on jumbo size skincare (like Sunday Riley serums).
I am notorious for ordering as early as I possibly can on the day the sale starts. This is because I'm always ready to go and have all the items in my cart already! The earlier you place your order, the quicker it ships. If you order a few days into the sale, it's likely that your order can take up to two weeks to arrive because of high order volume. My order generally comes fast because I place it early on the first day. If I happen to forget some thing, or place a second order a few days into the sale, that order generally doesn't arrive until even after the sale is over.
The Sephora sale is a great time to stock up on favorites that you use frequently. It's also a good time to try something new at a discounted price. However, I'd actually recommend that if you are interested in trying a new product, purchase the mini size prior to the sale so you can save big on the full-size once the sale starts.
Everyone knows when the Sephora Sale is happening. Other beauty retailers like Ulta generally will run sales during the same period (or right before) and sometimes the discount is even bigger than 20%! Individual brands will also run deals on their websites. Last year, Ole Henriksen had 30% off right before the Sephora Sale so I ended up purchasing through them directly!
Don't forget to actually use the code! If you're shopping in the store, be sure to mention that you want the discount when you check out. If you're ordering online, you will need to physically enter the code SAVESPRING into the promo code section before you place your order.
