30 Before 30 Bucket List - Update!

Hi friends! It's my birthday!

Last year, I decided to make a list of 30 things I wanted to accomplish by the time I turned 30. Well, today I am happy to report that I've made progress on about half the below items! I consider progress a win, because it means I've made an effort to tackle the goal! I definitely was a tad ambitious with all my travel related goals, since we're still battling a global pandemic and all.

But either way, I am excited for the next decade and to continue to make progress on my list as I enter the next chapter of life!

1. Save $10,000 - I didn't get to the $10K goal BUT I haven't had to dip into savings at all over the last year! #progress

2. Pay off credit card debt - We are 75% of the way there!

3. Start a collection - No progress unless you count makeup and things to drink out of! Also, like, do I really want a collection of anything?

4. Set an annual reading goal - OK technically I did this. I set the goal.

5. Earn a promotion / raise - Check, check and check!

6. Travel to Italy or Greece - OK, totally not my fault. #covid

7. Take on a physical challenge - I actually did this! In May, I started walking 2-3 miles per day! Better late than never!

8. Grow my following by 3x - Sadly, I actually lost Instagram followers because I removed hundreds of bot followers.

9. Buy a Le Creuset - Um, no. Why did this make the list? I don't even like cooking.

10. Learn a recipe from Grandma - I didn't do this and I am sad about it! I'm vowing to complete during fall/over the holidays (she doesn't have good AC).

11. Weekend in the Hamptons - #failed

12. Splurge on something expensive & pay cash for it - Needed to work on debt and savings first! Still on my list :)

13. Go axe throwing - Might do this today since it's raining!

14. Go to Top Golf - I think I'm doing this soon!

15. Visit Charleston, SC - #failed

16. Secure 3 more brand partnerships - I did this! I got into the Amazon Influencer program and set up my very own storefront! I partnered with Little Words Project and now have a discount code (and a growing arm party). Lastly, I did a collab with Briogeo and tried out some of their new haircare!

17. Go to Smorgasburg - Did this even happen?

18. Top of the Rock - #nope

19. Hudson Yards - Ugh no, still want to go.

20. Staten Island outlet mall - Check!

21. Go to The Wrecking Club - #negative

22. Learn how to make fresh mozzarella - Not yet but seems like a fall thing?

23. Girl's trip - No, 9 out of my 10 friends had babies instead. But like really cute babies, so I'm cool with it.

24. Take a roadtrip - Sadly, didn't get to it!

25. Spend more time with friends - OK so like definitely hard with Covid but I'd like to think I did this! Between baby visits, brunches and dinner dates, I'm counting this as a win!

26. Spend more time with my grandmas - Again, Covid. But also, yes, I did this. I got one of them hooked on a very specific collar store and she makes me take her there like every few weeks!

27. Plan an awesome 30th birthday party - I think some peeps have this covered.

28. Let go of the past - Check! Even if I am lying, I wouldn't tell ya :) What? A girl can't hold a grudge?! No for real though - I don't hold grudges. Plus, all my exes have either gotten engaged, bought a house with another girl or ghosted me. So, didn't have a choice!

29. Be at peace with myself - Definitely a work in progress and I'm super tough on myself! But getting there!

30. Fall in love - I am obsessed with myself. I am the funniest person I know. So, like, check.

Thanks for reading! Cheers to the next decade!
