If you have been following my journey on
Instagram, then you know that I recently renovated my room!
Real talk: Since I still live at home, it is difficult to have a space that I can truly call my own!
My room was so outdated and cluttered, it was definitely time for an update! Although pink is my favorite color, I decided to revamp my color scheme to neutral black, white and grey with just a pop of pink!

I tried to keep a budget in mind and this renovation ended up costing around $400 (including everything from rugs to Command strips)! But I have to admit that half of this budget was solely spent on my new

Hautelook. #sorrynotsorry
(Unfortunately it is no longer available through Hautelook but I linked it here at another retail location!)

I switched it up from the pale pink paint to Behr paint: "Graycloth" on 3 walls and "Natural Gray" on the long wall next to my bed. The Behr paint covered the pink sponge painting really well with just a few swipes of the roller!

I framed the original sketches that
@_melissajoy_ made for my blog logo and hung them. It was a totally cute and personal touch!

It looks so much cleaner and I love the little table in the corner featuring my
Badgley Mischka Jeannie pumps!
